About Me

  Shameeka Gray-McAllister is a United States Army Combat Veteran. She was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. She later moved to the United States, followed by a move to Nottingham, England, where she lived for 3 years. Upon returning to the United States, she completed her associate’s degree and subsequently joined the United States Army. During her service, she was deployed twice to Kuwait and Iraq. After leaving the Army with the rank of Sergeant, she pursued further education and earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. She currently resides in North Carolina with her husband and two children.
